Where we are

We are located 2 kms outside of the town of Tuscania in Lazio province, easily accessible by car or rail from a number of cities in Italy. Rome is the closest international airport, and there are a number of transportation options to bring you here.

From Rome: Take the E80 toll road for 27.5 kms to the SP3 which will bring you to Tuscania. Once in Tuscania pass through the town towards Viterbo, and make a right heading towards Vetralla. Quarticciolo will be your first right on that road. The entrance to Casa Caponetti will be 500 meters ahead on your right. the trip is approximately 100 kms and should take you about 1h15m.

From Pisa: Get on Superstrada Firenze Pisa Livorno from Viale delle Cascine and SS1, then follow E80 and SS1 to SS312 in Montalto. Take exit Montalto di Castro from SS1. Then take Take SP4 to Tuscania. The trip is approximately 260 kms and should take you about 2h50m.

From Florence: Take Via Ghibellina and SS67 to Via Marco Polo, then follow A1/E35 and SS675 to Strada Bagni in Viterbo. Take exit Viterbo Centro from SS675, and follow SP2 and SP3 to Tuscania. This trip is approximately 245 kms and should take you about 2h40m.

While there is no rail station in Tuscania, the neighboring cities of Tarquinia and Viterbo have rail links that are accessible to and from all major cities in Italy.

For guests in our rooms, we will arrange to meet you at either station upon your arrival and bring you to Casa Caponetti, but there is a bus service available throughout the day which will bring you to the center of Tuscania.
